KORife ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
- Account info: email address, nickname, full name (optional), profile color
- Location preference: area you select (Paengseong, Songtan, Humphreys, Osan)
- Precise location: with your permission, we access your device's GPS location to show nearby places and sort results by distance
- Photos: images you upload for marketplace listings and your profile
- Content you create: community posts, marketplace listings, restaurant reviews, saved items
- Usage: screens visited, actions taken within the app
2. How It's Stored
All data is stored securely on Supabase, a cloud database service hosted in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
3. What Other Users Can See
- Your nickname and profile color
- Posts, reviews, and marketplace listings you create
- Your email is never shown to other users
4. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication and database (supabase.com)
- Open-Meteo — weather data for Pyeongtaek (no personal data sent)
- Google Places API — business information and photos for restaurants, hospitals, pet services, academies, and fitness centers shown in the app
5. Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app via Profile > Delete Account. Alternatively, you may contact us at qwer0458@naver.com and we will process your request within 7 days.
6. Children's Privacy
KORife is not intended for users under 13 years of age.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
